Maggie Lakes is a private residential development managed by an Association of it’s owners. The primary purpose of the Association is to improve and maintain the forest, lakes and streams within its boundaries. A secondary purpose is to maintain the roadways in order to allow owners safe passage to and from their property. The Maggie Lakes Owners Association is a membership based non-profit Michigan Corporation and its Articles of Incorporation were filed with the State of Michigan on June 10, 2004. The Association is managed by a Board composed of Officers and Directors which oversee the covenants and Bylaws of the Association.A unique feature of the Association is the covenants that govern the use of the land and lakes. These covenants were written to protect the pristine environment of Maggie Lakes and provide owners the assurance that their property will not be negatively impacted by the actions of others. We thank the John Sammond family (previous owners of the Maggie Lakes property) for their dedication to assure Maggie Lakes would remain environmentally safe by drafting the covenants and requiring their inclusion into the sale of the Maggie Lakes properties.
