Building Committee

The Building Committee reviews and makes recommendations to the President for approval or denial of all proposed construction of dwellings and accessory structures. This ensures that they meet the building standards outlined in the Protective Covenants. The Committee makes recommendations to the Association that promote appropriate aesthetics and protect the interests of members from unforeseen development activities. The Covenants, Bylaws and Rules that Association members need to follow when building are available to download here. If you have questions about the guidelines for building or about our approval process, please contact the Building Committee Chair.

Follow this process for submitting your proposed

plans to the Building Committee for approval

The Approval Process: 1. Provide the Chairman of the Building committee a copy of the building plans and a copy of the site plan that shows the proposed location of the buildings and setbacks. Details of the process to follow are in this PDF. 2. The Chairman then transmits the building plans to the committee members with recommendations for comments and approval or denial from the members. 3. Once a majority of the members have approved or denied the application, the chairman notifies the president of the Association with the committee's recommendation. The president approves or denies and contacts the landowner. The whole process is usually done in 10 days or less. If a plan is denied, reasons are given, as are suggestions on how to change the plan to comply with the covenants.
